How To Sharpen Old Drill Bits Without Expensive Equipment

• All you need to do to sharpen all those old drill bits and make them like new again.
• #1 You will need 2 one half inch nuts or 2 thirteen millimeter equivalent nuts.
• #2 Take the nuts and lay them on work bench and align to flat sides of the nuts together and spot weld or even JB weld them together.
• #3 Now take your old bits and sharpen the cutting edges with a bench grinder and put the bit into the v shape of the two nuts.  Together they make the perfect angle to make the old drill bit like new again.
• #4You will have to repeat the grinding of the cutting surface to achieve the proper angle till the bit fits perfectly in the v shape
