Why Changing Your Vehicle Oil IS Vital

The engine in your vehicle is make up of moving parts that turn at a very high RPM (revolutions per minute). These internal parts run metal to metal and the only barrier they have is your engine oil to keep them from wearing. As your engine oil begins to break down, and all oil breaks down no matter what brand you use. Then your  engine loses  the barrier between the moving metal parts this causes the parts to heat up or even seize up completely costing you and new engine or vehicle. When your vehicle motor is running normally even with good oil tiny particles of the metal parts go into the oil. The longer you leave your oil unchanged the more metal content your oil will contain making it abrasive causing damage to you engine. Regular oil changes is essential to keep your vehicle running for a long time to come. I recommend changing your oil at 2900 miles no matter what oil you are using. Even if you are using an oil like lucas that breaks down more slowly than standard oils there will still be the metal content in the oil making it abrasive
